They know there RV stuff that's for sure, have only really had experience with their parts department, I believe his name was Jason and he was very knowledgeable, honest and helpful with my small purchases throughout the last couple months.
My wife and I bought a new 2017 alpine fifth wheel from Van Boxtel last August. The water heater did not work on gas from new on. Took it back last fall, they said it was fixed, it wasn't. This spring we went camping and the water heater still did not work. We took it back again June 12 and finally got it back July 28. We thought the gray tanks for leaking and they filled The gray and black tanks and left them Full until we picked it up July 28. The smell was horrible inside the trailer . The panels they removed to fix the water heater were never replaced the screws on one of the valves they replace were never tightened. It turned out all that was needed was a computer upgrade for the water heater . Had the trailer in three times and it took A total of 4 1/2 months to figure out the problem. Will not buy from Van Boxtel again nor recommend anyone to buy from them .
We bought a brand new camper here. Their salesman was great to work with, got great terms. We were told the camper was fully looked over and inspected. Got the camper home, opened the awning and it had small little holes that looked like burn holes-made you think it was used, the storage compartments did not seal-we could see outside through the gap, our slide out switch could be pulled out of the wall and wallpaper was bubbled. Called immediately to try and get fixed. They didn't have time before our camping trip 2 months later. Left messages and emails after. Finally almost a year later I have a date to bring it in, so they can look at and then we should bring home and continue to use until they can get with the manufacturer and then bring back in. We live 45 min away. I asked what would happened if I used my camper on a permanent site...I was told I would have to pay to have a service call made to it or unhook it and bring in. Found out my sister has some issues as well. She bought her camper 1 week after us. Has some things that don't appear to have been inspected before it left. She has yet to get hers in. Easy buying, terrible support after purchase even with a warranty!
Great experience at Van Boxtel RV. Rebecca was a pure joy to work with on the purchase of our 5th wheel. I'd go back just to have coffee with them. We had a good time with them. I can't remember have this much fun buying a major purchase.
My wife and I purchased a new Travel Trailer and have had nothing but great service, advice and almost a friendship with VB. Kevin in the service department is awesome and had helped me out of a jam a few times. They have ALL my business for my RV needs. I personally will only go to VB. Thanks guys.
