Good place to browse for electronics. I just wish their prices were more competitive with online sellers, but it's hard to compete with the likes of Amazon. Still, if you like gadgets and tech, and like to try things hands-on, or just have to have it now, there's few places better.
Went into Best Buy to pick up a portable projector, the product was not in stock so the salesman ordered it for me. I was nervous about having it sent to my apartment, so we discussed it and decided to have it sent to my sister in laws house. In doing so he asked for her phone number, she had an account with the current address, so he put it on her account. I paid for the item with my credit card. I noticed Amazon had the item cheaper so I called the number that best buy provides for situations like this. Unfortunately, because it is not my account they wouldn't do the price match, even with me being able to provide all information on the account. The agent I spoke to Plissken stated it would be better to refuse the order, get the credit from Best Buy and order it from Amazon. So that is what I'm going to do seeing as though I have not received the item yet.... Due to the extreme poor customer service Best Buy has lost my respect and business for life. All this trouble over $30. Grant it the salesman shouldn't have put the account in my sister in laws name, but since it is MY credit card I believe the situation should have been handled more professionally. You should not offer price match if you are going to give people a hard time!
Best Buy has become much more competitive since the new CEO has started matching website prices. Still a nice store to shop at as long as you don't fall for their extended warrantee BS.
The only issue I have with this location is that their prices don't always match those listed online. With their price match program they will match the online price if you bring it up, but I would rather not have to do that when I go in to buy a computer. Besides that, the customer service is great and the associates are very helpful.
Great place to go for electronics. Very helpful staff. They don't open until 10am everyday. Will price match most items. Only have 14 days for returns unless you have their credit card.
