I don't normally mention bad customer service seeing as I worked in retail for almost 20 years so I get people have bad days. But I'm in awe and it has been bothering me since.
We purchased a pair of boots from the Red Wing store and received a coupon from the girl at the time of purchase offering us a discount, the receipt says Brian but we are guessing that is wrong LOL! She made note that there was another location that carried other brands. We don't make it to Green Bay very often so when we came this weekend, we tried out this location and were not treated at all like we were at your other store! We were very disappointed. My fiancé pays good money for good products and that should include good service. First instance was when he mentioned Red Wing boots the lady cut him off to say "we have a store dedicated to Red Wings," instead of letting him talk. Second was when she rolled her eyes when she walked into the back room, and while he was trying shoes I was checking out the clearance area and I could hear them talking in the back room about another customer that just left!!! Completely unacceptable. Needless to say we left and went back to the Red Wing store and the woman who was there that time, Diane, was very sweet and helpful and made up for this bad experience. Looks like we will stick to the other store when it comes to his feet needs. And I will continue shopping online for my shoes.
Excellent excellent service! Great people. I had an issue with a pair of boots I bought (manufacturer issue) and they took care of it right away. I will definitely go back next time I need footwear.
The first time I went in the lady was very helpful and nice. I bought a pair of boots and new insoles. I went back a week later to exchange the insole for a different pair. There was a different lady working and she had nothing but an attitude and just kind of seamed mad I was there. After spending almost $300 there I don't think I'll be going back again.
