I didn't go back in or call for fear of being told, the same thing i was told years ago from the other shoe store. I did call and after talking to Troy a week after purchasing them, he told me to come in and they could help me out. I went back and Ryan again worked with me to find a pair of shoes to meet my needs. I felt horrible having to return a pair of shoes I wore but I was reassured this was ok and they were glad I came in. Again thank you for the great customer service and understanding. Thank you Troy for having an outstanding business and to Ryan for providing great customer service. BEST OF THE BAY IN MY BOOK!!
I want to congratulate this store for hiring professional staffs who care for their customers and put their best foot forward to assist me every time I have to buy an item.
But this is not the policy at The Heel. Ryan waited on me and helped me find a pair of shoes to weather the snow and ice. I purchased a pair of shoes mid day and had the appropriate socks on for the best fit. After wearing them for several long days days both indoors and out in the snow and ice, my feet were throbbing and I could barely walk. They were too narrow.
Years ago I purchased shoes from another shoe store and was i was told I could only return the shoes if I wore them on carpet flooring.
Excellent customer service! Superb shoe cobbler! I brought my Birks in for new soles, and they are just like new!! I've never been disappointed with any of my purchases at The Heel!

The folks at The Heel are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and also very patient with my concerns. I am surprised to have my feet actually measured which I didn't think was even done anymore! It is always a pleasant experience being in their store. Their prices may or may not be a bit more than you are used to paying but the comfort and quality of the shoes are worth the price.
