These folks are polite and courteous. It appears that they are a little shady in their business practices. My spouse says that they attempted to charge for things that she did not have done, but are covered by insurance.
My family and I have been going to the Green Bay Eyecare place for over 18 years. We have always received great service. There was at least one instance when I received my exam there and took the prescription to another provider for glasses...which was a mistake. I have astigmatism and other issues...the other provider's prism within the lense was not set correctly, so I ended back at the Eyecare place and the glasses were perfect. The exams are very detailed and exact, they have always accommodated me with special requests, insurance billing, etc. Today I picked up my sunglasses and Tara and Jessica were kind and helpful, making several adjustments for me.
All of the staff is great!!! We have 6 family members in our family and they always work to schedule us back to back and handle us all in one day. I love how they are always friendly and willing to work with me and my HSA and FSA needs. Best vision care place ever!
Don't waste your time going here. I called in advance to see if they had two different brands of frames and they said "no, but we can order them for you". When I arrived I explained to the "customer service" person that I lost my two pair of glasses and I have different eye insurance in 2016 vs. the store that supplied them in November of 2015 and I had to explain the whole process twice. In the end they had neither of the frame brands that they told me that they could order or in stock. Poor experience.
I went in last Thursday and had excellent care from the front desk, to the testing to Dr. Eggert and then glass fitting afterwards. Earlier I had posted 5 stars without comment. Now I'm taking one star away because I was given an eye drop prescription on Thursday. On Saturday I called to see if the doctor had called in the prescription yet. I did not hear back from anyone. Just now I called again and during the conversation was told that on Saturday's no one checks voice message because it's so busy in the office so they wait until Monday to check the message. To me that's not good customer service. If it was an emergency, I would go to the hospital and not bother to call; however, when you're looking for simple answers...someone should be assigned to check voice messages every day, including Saturday's.
