I recently received care at Bellin hospital 2 months ago I had the best care across the board especially the Nurses & Aides on 1south they were the BEST. They took great care of me.
Received great care. 2nd time this year. !st floor surgical unit is tops. Food sucks and that's a compliment as if I put what I really thought it couldn't be put on this.
My dad had colon cancer surgery done last weekend and Dr Falk/Dr Grodsky and the team of nurses did an outstanding job. My dad is recovering quickly from the surgery. Thank you to all of the Bellin staff involved...
Dr. Watson is AWESOME!! Her clinical knowledge is so incredibly profound! I vote her woman of the year!! She saved my life!
Worst experience for surgery ever! Nurses had no clue where my husband was when they entered the prep room. Then said we'd see the doctor before surgery-never happened. IV was not in vein, total hand swollen. When moved to after care I asked if it was ok that blood was 12" coming up the IV? Was told, "of course, it's an IV, it means interveinous needs to be in a vein. Means we did a good job." And many more nasty nurses throughout this whole experience. They made us feel as though we were an inconvenience for them, never felt as though they were there to help us at all. Avoid this hospital for surgery, if possible!
