Called to see if they stock parts for my washer. Just needs dogs and I can replace them myself. Store computer voice says they are open but I've called five times. Twice it rang until my call ended on it's own (more than twenty rings), three times I tried to get directed to parts department. Twice got put on hold and nobody picked up, once got a computer that couldn't understand what I was saying. I give up
Nice clean store, great price and great selection.
Don't buy the cheapest tires or you will be berated. It wasn't the tires that were the problem but the sales associate who helped us. After installing the tires we ordered he said in a very negative way "well, I don't know, I hope you like them. They are very cheap tires and you get what you pay for." Not only did he feel the need to tell me once, then when my wife showed up at the counter he felt the need to repeat his dismay at our choice by saying "I would have left the old tires on your vehicle, they are much better". They were worn past the tread line marker. First let me say, I believe HE was the associate who took my order when I placed it. There was no mention then that he thought we were buying inferior tires. Now my wife feels we should look at replacing the tires and does not feel safe driving on them. He has ruined the whole shopping experience for these items not to mention ruining my entire day of Christmas shopping for my family as I was and am still very upset over his non-digression of words. What horrible customer service to belittle the customer over their choice of product. If they are truly that bad, why is Sears selling the tires??? It sounded as if he felt the tires wouldn't get us home.
I have never had a problem in the past with Sears but I recently tried to order 3 appliances and between the website going down and the difficulty communicating with the overseas operators, I will not be doing anything online again and anything i do purchase will be either a face to face or it will have to be on the shelf. It is sad that at one time they were the best and now they struggle to be average.
No one answers the phone. 12 rings and then you get a hang up. The same thing happens when calling the manager. Am I supposed to drive to Sears to find out if they even have what I'm looking? BTW I'm looking for a luggage carrier.
