They have a great little thrift shop to help support Green Bay Rescue. They also have cats for adoption, pet supplies, very nice staff & great prices on services offered. Plus if your fur kid(s) become a patient there they are now offering free training classes.
Parkside Animal is a great vet, don't ask my 5 lb tea cup yourkshire terrier if that's her most favorite place to go, however my husband and myself like Parkside alot, thanks for doing a great job.
My 11 year old cat needed to have dental work done, and I was nervous since she's getting to be fairly "mature." We had recently moved away from the area, and I took her to another vet that was closer, who was going to charge me nearly twice what Parkside in GB was. This other vet also said she needed more extractions (without doing any x-rays). Parkside knows how to effectively deal with cats, especially the ones that are less than enthusiastic about going to the vet, and they are great at providing care. My cat recovered better even than she did the first time she got her teeth cleaned from a different vet four years ago. This vet is the perfect combination of cost effective and great care. Dr. Dyal and vet tech Amber are great!
Took my puppy there to be tested for Parvo which they conducted a snap test for which came back positive, and went to the Animal referral clinic in Appleton. The next day we got a extended test done that came back negative. Following the series of events i reached out to them and expressed my concern for their process following the diagnosis of Parvo to people and the lack of information they provided us which they did not read or acknowledge but responded with information irrelevant to my concerns. I wish i could say they assisted in the speedy recovery of my puppy but it felt more like they were just trying to push us out the door to the next vet with no information and frightened.
I brought a nervous pit bull here to get her established with a regular veterinarian. The technicians and the vet were really great with her. I had to bring her back the very next day for an eye issue, and again they were all wonderful with her and gave her a courtesy exam and were great about explaining the diagnosis and treatment process. Very pleased with Parkside.
