Food wasn't as good as it should have been...
The place is very upscale and classy. Everything from the unique decor' to the beautiful bar and dining area to the exquisite dinnerwear. While we waited for our food we we treated to what I can call one of the best views Green Bay has to offer. Unfortunately for us it was sortive cloudy so it wasn't as beautiful as it could have been.
Love the outdoor dining ambiance...service is great and servers are very friendly and accommodating . ....and the food is not only visually appealing but delicious and plentiful❣
The English Inn is a nice place to eat and if you can't get the Door County there you go
My only complaint about this place would have to be the food...I had never had lobster tail before but I am certain it wasn't supposed to be that tough. The overpriced fish I had ordered were basically fancy cut fish sticks...or that's what it may as well have been with the amount of batter that was used. But besides the main dishes being less than quality, the part that made up for it was the side dishes. I had some mashed baby reds that were just exquisite and some clamp chowder soup that was phenomenal. That being said, I have had significantly better seafood for much less.
Stopped here on the way home from Door County. Beautiful outdoor seating area with view. Food was very tasty, would have been even more enjoyable if my medium rare steak would not have been cooked well-done. Will visit again and provide 5 stars if food prepared to request
We went for our anniversary. The fish was poorly cooked and service mediocre. I hope what happened to us was an exception.The restaurant and the atmosphere were nice.
