There aren't a lot of quality discount motels in this area. For the price, this was a nice place for our one night stay. More than I usually pay, but again, choice was limited. The facility is clean, the staff friendly. No free breakfast like most places today. The area of town (two blocks from Lambeau Field) isn't the nicest area to stay. As others have mentioned, the soft water is overkill.
Some staff were excellent, others, less so. Beds: horrible; very hard, my back was aching after one night. The cot was actually better, but not by much. Pool: good on the whole, hot-tub was low on water and not taken proper care of, VERY foamy. Price: due to it being a Green Bay Packers home game, SEVERELY overpriced. Almost $500/night for a room I wouldn't say was worth more than $100/night. Staff kept trying to charge us for included breakfast. Breakfast: outstanding.
The hotel staff was ridiculously friendly and welcoming. The cleaning crew even said thanks and to have a great day when we walked past them in the hall. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfy. Not much else to report.
Great hotel. Close to the Packers stadium with lots of Packers stuff in there. Staff were friendly. Hit the hot tub which was a bit tepid, but ok. Breakfast was superb. Why the 4* and not 5? Because the water in the showers is AWFUL. So over softened that you can't tell if you're soaped up or clean. I challenge the hotel staff to shower in their own hotel and then tell me the water isn't awful. Probably wouldn't return on the shower water alone.
