Anyone looking for a cardiologist BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I saw a doctor in the summer of 2010 and everything was ok, went as expected. Then I went back in the winter of 2010 for a similar condition expecting everything to go the same as the last time, was I ever wrong. With zero warning they completely changed how they bill insurance companies. So basically something that cost me $30 now cost me $1600. When I made the appointment there was zero mention of the change. When I came to the appointment there was zero mention of the change. No sign, no form in all the papers they give you at the beginning of a appointment...NOTHING!! As far as the doctors go, nothing against them, I'm sure they are great doctors. But for something as major as changing how they bill a insurance company I expected they would be a little more proactive and try to avoid situations like the one I'm in. If you must go to Cardiology Associates don't believe a word they say about billing or costs without calling your insurance company first. Hope you have better luck than I did!!
