Five acres of foodie Paradise. Plan to spend at least an hour on your first visit to get to know the huge selection of everything your culinary heart desires. I personally have a separate shopping list of specific items I can only find at Woodman's. Large organic imprint for vegetables, fruits, packaged goods and some meats. The largest selection of international foods in the area outside of the specialty Asian and Latino groceries. Separate liquor store attached with a vast selection of fine wines at affordable prices. Only drawbacks: smaller than expected bakery and deli sections as well as sluggish checkouts at peak times. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
This park is an excellent place to bring your dog and kids, fun for the whole family ! It's shaded and it's beautiful. There is a small dog area for small dogs and a big area for big dogs. And there are trails all over the place for people to venture out on. There is a river there also where people take their pets for a swim or to play with other dogs. Just a great place for everyone who has a pet or enjoys being wirh their pets ! My 2 Boston terriers ( Jake and Jessie ) enjoy playing with other small dogs there. We have made some wonderful friends there and we meet them there everyday in the mornings so our dogs can play and run with each other. I bring fresh water for the small dogs everyday. It costs $ 2.00 a day to run your dog or $20.00 a year. Your dog has to be registered there or you will get a fine. They will send you the dogs tag in the mail when u pay by the year.so bring your kids and family and bring some food and have a picnic...there's picnic tables there too. And most of all your pets can run free with other dogs and have fun and it's all fenced in ! So the dog parents don't have to worry about there dog getting out and running away !
Usually my go to grocery store. Has a huge selection of everything at affordable prices. Nice gluten free area. The lines at checkout can be long though at peak times for checkout. Will only take cash or debit. They do have an ATM though. Staff is very nice. Forgot wallet a few times and staff was nice enough to put my whole cart in refrigerator area while I ran home to grab money.
My second praise the size of the store, it's big. It allows me to actually maneuver around crowded aisles. I can also look at products In the aisles without worrying about others having to wait on me. This similarly applies to their parking lot.
Now onto the great stuff.
My final praise is the fact that the store is 24/7. There are only a select few stores in Green Bay that are 24/7 and I am glad it's this one. I usually pick up a few things late at night and having that as an option really helps. Because of that I always use the self checkout. The self checkout can be great if employees would attend to my issues in a timely manner and with positive outlook.
Secondly, I understand that theft is a huge concern for your stores. I can tell by the giant cardboard cutout of the police chief in the liquor section. But when I walk in pajamas at 11 pm, I expect not be stalked because my hair is messy and my skin color is tad bit darker than yours. I come to shop in peace, without someone heavily breathing down my neck while I go through a self checkout.
Lastly, "employee owned" is plastered all over the store. You would think because the company is employee oriented that the employees would offer an excellent experience. Wrong, your employees have been rude on multiple occasions, especially when it comes to receiving help at the self checkout. Typically I wouldn't mind this behavior as it could be circumstantial but because the store sets the expectation, this will be another thing I personally did not enjoy.
I find myself asking why I shop here. Everytime I go to shop here, I leave very upset. We can start with the bad first. The thing that upsets me the most is the fact you cannot pay with a credit card. It's 2017, you're not a mom and pop shop anymore. You can't give them a pass for not accepting credit cards anymore. The fact that they offer an online delivery service but they can't accept credit cards in store is absurd.
Overall, I still walk out of the store dissatisfied, upset and bothered that a store has so many flaws, of course, this is my opinion and plenty of others see it differently. Yet, I still know that no matter how absurd the store gets, I'll be there the next time.
Big store with great variety of foods. Also has very good prices on most food. I would say their meat section can be priced higher than most local grocery stores. I always get my oil changes done at the gas station as well, nice people and don't try to upsell you nonstop!
You have an excellent selection of products. This is where all my praise will go to and why I keep returning back to the store. We cook a lot of Oriental and Mexican food so it can be especially difficult to find a certain product elsewhere. People will argue that is why they don't accept credit cards but that still is not enough of a reason to pass on such a modern way to pay.
