Prices are just a bit higher than other craft stores, but if you sign up for the daily email and time it right, the coupon selection is awesome and saves you a ton of money.

All in all, not a bad store. I'd give 4+, but as others have said, the customer service is awful. I want to leave inspired and excited to get to a project... not breathing a sigh of relief to be away from all that negativity.

The craft selection is pretty good, and it's recently upgraded to having more Michael's type offerings. They have a bigger selection of things like stencils, wall decor, and most recently, rows of frames. The selection is still smaller and the quality still lower than Michael's, but considering all the fabric and sewing accessories, it's a good one-stop-shop for makers.

The fabric selection is outstanding, and many of the workers in the department are quite knowledgeable. However, there's a significant chance that the nearest worker will not only not smile at you, she'll give you the evil eye and walk away... never asking if she can help or acting put out of I ask for help. Younger staff (like 20yo) will smile energetically but have no idea how to help or where to go or what to do.

Quilt, craft, and FLEECE store. They don't cater to seamstresses. Their selection of fashion knits is terrible. But you will find mountains of fleece for those cut and tie blankets.

I was pleased with the service & really liked the Wed.sales. Sales people were nice & even other customers were polite.Only negative was the crowded aisles ...to the point of possible danger.I would not bring children.

It's a love-hate thing with this Joann location.

I like shopping at joann fabrics for material but all the extra things like paper craft accessory items are so expensive and the variety is not good. Michaels and Hobby lobby has the prices that people want to spend. Including the coupons.

Nice place. Pretty good inventory. Seemed like a skeleton crew on a Saturday. Had to spend time searching the store.
