Outdoor mall with lots of variety. Large fitness center, major grocery store, Mexican restaurant, shops, take and bake pizza place, natural foods store, Shopko, and more
The Good: Good variety of stores and eateries. You can do grocery shopping at Festival Foods, get house hold items at Shopko, pick up a take and bake pizza at Papa Murphy's, and burn all the extra calories off at the Fitness Center. There are other stores as well. Easy access for Howard/Suamico residents.
TL/DR: Great shopping center, traffic can get hectic.
The Bad: Depends on how much you hate traffic, otherwise nothing.
The apartment complex is like living in an upscale retirement village mixed with a prison. The staff never answers their phone, and the "gated community" is a cheap mall bar, not an actual gate. There's security cameras everywhere watching the tenants, and residents have to inform management if any guests they have or activities that will be taking place. Tenants are not allowed to use garage door openers or run water after 10, and they stipulate that a BLACK LIGHT will be used when determining security deposits post move-out. Money hungry management and corporation. Allow pets but not very pet friendly (You must bring your pets in for "interviews"). Bad/slow maintenance. I've honest to god never seen a lease like this, and this is coming from someone who's lived in major cities like NYC and San Francisco. Ridiculous. Save your money and dignity.
Thanks for reading.
Great place to shop at the variety of stores and shops.
Criminals. Don't lease from these people unless you don't want your security deposit back. 935 dollars for a deposit and they took 700 of that from me. There is no way I caused 700 dollars worth of damage that wasn't beyond normal wear and tear in the less than one year I lived there. They claimed that for a couple of small paint chips, nail holes(that weren't even from me I had 0 things hanging on my walls), and an oil spot on a garage floor they had the right to charge me 700 dollars. Absolutely terrible service as well, they never call anyone back. Apartments are built to look nice and catch your eye, but they are very poorly built. From day one I could hear everything in all of the surrounding apartments, they have paper thin walls. My advice, find an apartment that isn't so expensive and I guarantee in the end you'll be much happier! Urban edge attracts you with its flash and amenities, but it's just not worth it. Save yourself some money and a headache!
The OK: The traffic here is horrendous on weekdays around 5pm. It makes stopping for something take a bit longer. Lineville is a huge traffic into Howard-Suamico and this Center is right off of it.
