The Bar is closed
I liked the bowling alley. Unfortunately it's pretty much closed now.
As an experienced and trained bowler, The Gutter has way to much oil on their lanes which if your ball is not cleaned properly it can kill it, food was not that good, when I went cosmic bowling our time ran out and my ball was stuck for half an hour until someone finally came. Finally, when I went cosmic bowling our lane broke down and they said they could move us to a different lane in which they did 20 min. later. Horrible service, horrible food, and not to mention WAY TO MUCH OIL ON THE LANES!
Up-to-date bowling alley. Couches available for seating during play. Bad things: the bar tender on the bowling side ignored us, we had to go into the bar to get a drink quickly. Also, the arcade games are poorly maintaibed. Many did not function or accept your token.
Not family friendly at all. Took my little siblings there for one of their birthdays. There are large projector screens behind the lanes with music videos on the whole time. We we assured that they were "mom approved before 9pm". They definitely weren't. Not sure what mom would let her 7 year old watch those videos. We asked them to change the projector right in front of our lane to something else and they wouldn't. After 9pm the videos were beyond inappropriate. I'd say "The Gutter" is a very fitting name for this place.
Service is usually decent and the cosmic bowling has been fun for our families. They have been closed now for some time so call ahead before making the trip.
